MONDAY, MARCH 2 — TELL WALSH: DROP THE ANTI-UNION FRAME-UP CHARGES ON UNION LEADER STEVE KIRSCHBAUM

The mayor’s number is 617-635-4500
Monday, March 2 is a National Call-in day to Boston Mayor Martin Walsh and District Attorney Daniel Conley.

This is a fight to defend the union leaders of USW Local 8751 — a fight to defend a local that has always espoused political and social unionism — and a fight against racism and education cuts in Boston!

Mayor Walsh has made it clear: while he hails from the labor movement, his policies have served the union busters, the budget cutters — the one percent, whether it’s closing MORE schools, kicking 7th graders off of school buses, dissing the Black Lives Matter movement or firing a city worker for exercising her First Amendment right to protest in support of Black Lives Matter.

SIGN ON to the Community/Labor Statement!

NATIONAL CALL-IN DAY MONDAY 3/2 – Call Boston Mayor Martin Walsh at 617-635-4500 fax 517-635-2851 email mayor@boston.gov. Tell him the charges must be dropped and the four fired union leaders rehired, middle school students kept on school buses and no schools closed, safety and education for the students, concern for the parents and justice for the drivers!

Also call Suffolk County DA Daniel Conley, 617-619-4000 fax 617-619-4210. Tell him to drop the frame-up, anti-union felony charges against USW 8751 union leader Steve Kirschbaum. Then connect to the call-in day event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/1401278336846856/ and add a comment describing the response you get.
