Walk out to show solidarity in protest of the Tony Robinson shooting because #blacklivesmatter. We will meet on Ash St. Entrance at 1:30 to start loading on buses that will take us to the Department of Corrections. Loading time will be between 1:30-1:45PM but we will leave promptly by 2PM. The address of the DoC is 3099 E. Washington Ave.
Wednesday Statewide rally starting at 3:00 at Worthington Park, before going to the Department of Corrections. We are demanding #justice4tony, stop the school to prison pipeline, fight for a $15.00hr living wage, fight for the justice of lost Black lives, of those murdered by police and lost in our criminal system.High school students will be walking out of school to join the protest.

Meet at Worthington Park before going to the Department of Corrections
We will join our friends at Wisconsin Jobs Now, The Young Gifted and Black Coalition and others, in Madison for the National Day of Action in our state’s capitol. While their we will rally and protest to bring awareness toward the fight for Economic justice and the unjustified murders of Dontre Hamilton and Tony Robinson. We are taking our demands to the people who make the decisions in Madison and around the state.If you can join us we would love for you to be there. There will be transportation provided both to and from Madison for all of those who need it. If you are planning on going please email info@wisconsinjobsnow.org and say “I’m interested in attending the Reclaim our State Day of Action in Madison, on Wednesday, and I will need transportation.” They will email you back with the details. Please please please if you plan on riding down on the provided transportation it is imperative that you email the address above so that we can get an accurate headcount of everyone who wants to go.
For those who want to drive to Madison and can bring at least 3/4 people with you, WJN will reimburse your travel. If you have a group of people who can go, please email info@wisconsinjobsnow.org and let them know as well.
