IWW Skillshare: Resist Child Protective Services Injustice
The IWW’s August Resistance Skillshare will focus on Child Protective Services Resistance. This event is free and open to the public. Schedule:
11:30-12:20. “Understand the CPS Bureaucracy and the Attack on Poor Families.” Led by Amada Morales and Mikel Komba.

12:30-1:00 PM. Lunch, free food provided.

1:00-1:50 PM. Panel of affected mothers, speaking out against CPS injustice.

2:00-2:50 PM. Viewing of the video: “DHS: Give Us Back our Children” and discussion. Led by Pat Gowens.

3:00-3:50 PM. Prisoner letter writing (this is a monthly IWW session). Led by Jacob Glicklich and Emily Malone

This event is in the large meeting room of the Center Street library, located at 2727 W. Fond Du Lac, Milwaukee, WI.

*Resistance Skillshares are a series of participatory workshops that provide immediate & practical techniques for combating power and supporting solidarity. This skillshare will focus on building support networks for and among families being torn apart by Child Protective Services.
