Lorenzo Mateo Francisco a Guatemalan journalist with Prensa Comunitaria and Snuq’ Jolom Konob’ a community radio station in Santa Eulalia, Guatemala. He is in the US to receive the 2015 Human Rights Defender Award. He will be joining us to tell us what issues and repression community organizers face in Guatemala today. Andrew Fandino of the Guatemala Human Rights Commission/USA will be accompanying him and can speak on the more general human rights situation.
