Milwaukee, November 20: Wishah Palestinian Dance Troupe in Milwaukee!

USPCN sponsoring Wishah mini-tour of the U.S.
Straight from Ramallah and other cities and villages of Occupied Palestine, this Popular Dance Troupe is bringing traditional Palestinian folklore, dance, theater, and culture to Milwaukee on Friday, November 20th.

Wishah presents emotionally moving shows which are based on the artistic inheritance of our music and songs. Through its performances, the group contributes to Palestinian cultural life, preserving it from marginalization attempts, and popularizes Palestinian dance and song. As a representation of cultural resistance in Palestine, Wishah is on its second-ever U.S. tour, partnering nationally with USPCN and locally with several other organizations.

Buy tickets http://wishahdance.eventbrite.com/ ! All proceeds will support medical treatment for Ahmad Dawabsheh, the 4-year-old brother of #BabyAli, who was burned alive and killed, along with the boys’ parents, by racist Israeli settlers 3 months ago; as well as USPCN’s organizing for Palestine.
