Today we are joining Strong Families in celebrating Trans Day of Resilience. This project is an extension and re-imagining of National Transgender Day of Remembrance, the annual event memorializing people – often trans women of color – killed by anti-trans violence. Strong Families is a multi-racial and multi-issue coalition of organizations led by Forward Together, who believe that ALL people need to have the rights, recognition and resources to thrive.
