Petition: Stand with UAW Local 833

This petition, letter of solidarity, is simply to stand with the 2,000 workers of UAW Local 833 who went on strike on November 16th, 2015 against the Kohler Company in Wisconsin. One of the largest strikes the United States labor movement has seen in decades.

The one true weapon organized labor has is solidarity. It doesn’t matter what industry you’re part of, an injury to one is an injury to all. By adding your name to this letter of solidarity you’re telling the bosses that the workers united will never be defeated.

As Joe Burns has stated: “Organized labor must rally behind the battle of the Kohler workers and view their victory as essential for the labor movement.  It’s a strike for survival.”
