Milwaukee, December 17: Coalition for Justice Responds to the DOJ MPD Investigation

The U.S. Department of Justice has agreed to a review of the Milwaukee Police Department, at the request of Chief Edward Flynn, according to news release.

Acting U.S. Attorney Gregory Haanstad will hold a news conference at 1 p.m. Thursday to formally announce the review by the Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.

Coalition for Justice will respond at the federal courthouse immediately following their press conference.

Here’s what Flynn got out of by volunteering the DAY THE HAMILTON FAMILY got word that Manney would NOT be indicted: The process gives the Justice Department a less adversarial option than a consent decree, which is formal monitoring through its Civil Rights Division resulting from a pattern-and-practice investigation.

Please start calling and asking for a full patterns & practice investigation. Milwaukee Main Phone: (414) 297-1700 and ask for Acting US Attorney Gregory Haanstad.
