Join the Milwaukee Industrial Workers of the World in a picket against Anchor Properties LLC. Anchor Properties has unfairly evicted Marie C. but for the past 6 months has refused to remove her from the lease. Now the court has removed her from the lease but Anchor Properties refuses to return the money Marie put down for the security deposit. Marie was evicted almost 6 months ago and security deposits must be returned within 30 days of a tenant leaving or being evicted and any deductions must be accounted for in an itemized list. We cannot tolerate this shameful behavior from landlords in Milwaukee. Exploitative and predatory landlords must be taught that tenants rights must be respected! Come out and stand up for tenants rights and the dignity of all!
