Leon’s owner won’t allow their Spanish speaking employees service their Spanish speaking customers in Spanish. Instead, they are mandated to use English only. Many of the customers are Latinos/as that primarily speak Spanish. Speaking English to them puts them in an uncomfortable, difficult situation; after all, they only want to get ice cream and they should not be put through an unnecessary, uncomfortable situation.
Come protest against this discrimination. Let the Leon’s owner this isn’t allowed in Milwaukee.
El dueño de Leon’s impide que sus empleados hablen español con los clientes que solo hablan ese idioma. Todos los empleados saben que no deben hablar español.
Muchos de los clientes son latinos o de origen donde su idioma es español.
Esto pone a los clientes en una situacion dificil porque al fin y alcabo ellos solo quieren su nieve.
Vengan a protestar con nosotros y enseñarle al dueño la soliradidad que tiene nuestra ciudad.
