July was a huge month for our campaign. We collected over 3,700 signatures to put Monica Moorehead and Lamont Lilly on the ballot in Wisconsin, meanwhile building for several historic demonstrations to take on Trump, Clinton and the two parties of racism, capitalism and war.
In Cleveland, Monica and Lamont carried the lead banner in the Shut Down Trump and the RNC march, which was organized by a broad coalition including our campaign. In Cleveland, Moorehead called for the abolition of the police as a repressive force while demanding justice for Tamir Rice and other victims of police terror along with solidarity with immigrant workers. In Philadelphia, Lamont spoke to a crowd of thousands on the need to build working class solidarity to defeat racism and capitalism as part of the Black Resistance to the DNC march.
In Baltimore, the city where Freddie Gray and Korryn Gaines were murdered by police, the Baltimore Campaign for People’s Power collected over 8,000 signatures to run Workers World Party candidates Andre Powell and Sharon Black for Mayor and President of City Council.
This weekend Monica and Lamont will be heading to California for the Peace and Freedom Party’s Nominating convention. We will be bringing our revolutionary socialist 10 point platform to the Steering Committee hopefully in order to win the Peace and Freedom nomination and to be on the ballot in California.
The momentum behind our genuinely revolutionary, anti-racist message has been growing. Every day we are getting 
more likes on Facebook, more followers on Twitter, and more hits to our website. We launched Vote4Socialism.org, where anyone can have their voice heard and vote for Monica and Lamont.
