Read this article by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire, on the 2017 Detroit May Day Rally & March. The demonstration focused on a myriad of issues affecting workers and oppressed peoples locally, nationally and internationally. Participants gathered for speeches at Grand Circus Park downtown and then marched in the streets to the federal building, the federal courthouse, through the financial district, Campus Martius and then back to the original starting point.
