Please join us to hear more about Wisconsin Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee, and help us write to prisoners. This will be an information session on the need to abolish prisons, and the current collective struggles of Wisconsin prisoner. We will also do a mass mailing to incarcerated workers to build connections between people and strengthen organizing networks. Resources for people who want to start a penpal exchange will also be offered. We will be in the large meeting room of the Center Street Library on Tuesday, June 27, 5:30-6:30 PM. Food and drinks are provided, childcare is available upon request.
Following the prisoner writing sessions, people interested in longterm involvement are welcome to also attend our biweekly IWOC meeting.
