Join the Madison General Defense Committee of the IWW local 100 for our first ever community self defense fundraiser.
Half of the proceeds will go towards the Free The 350 Bail Fund, which will work towards the goal of reducing the racist discrepancies in incarceration in Dane County, as well as providing a crucial community service that currently doesn’t exist in the Madison area.

After the white supremacist terrorist attacks that killed two antifascist activists in Charlottesville, #Cville, Virginia earlier this month, it is obvious that we cannot rely on the state, or the state’s racist, armed, repressive institutions (read; cops) to protect us from growing white supremacist terror. This is a fact that Black folks have been living with the entire time and the events in Charlottesville should be a wake up call for non POC folks.
Charlottesville has shown that even white privilege is not immune to the growing Nazi menace, Nazi’s have always considered the left and communists to be their mortal enemies. Let these tragic events be the final push for calling folks into action to defend their communities and the communities of marginalized folks from capitalism’s oppressive and repressive ideology and it’s goons.
