Our guest is a UW professor who has chronicled the lives of two families living in the slums outside Managua. He addresses the realities of life, reasons for urbanization, the effects of climate change and public policy, and the current political crisis. His book is “Every Day We Live Is the Future: Surviving in a City of Disasters” and he has an upcoming article in the Progressive.
