Airport Workers United

Too often contracted airport workers –cabin cleaners, ramp workers, baggage handlers, wheelchair attendants, terminal cleaners, security officers, skycaps and passenger service workers– are paid so little that they can’t make ends meet even as the industry rakes in billions in profits. Airport workers across the country are tired of making big profits for the aviation industry, while they struggle to get by. Thats’s why airport workers and community allies are standing up and demanding $15 and union. Today, more than 118,000 airport workers nationwide have either received wage increases or other improvements, including healthcare, paid sick leave and worker retention policies.
