Milwaukee, April 23, 2019: North America Nakba Tour, The Exiled Palestinians

North America Nakba Tour: Milwaukee

Join us on April 23rd to hear the stories about the occupation in Palestine and life as refugees.

In 1948, Zionist militias destroyed over 400 Palestinian villages, with more than half of the population being killed or expelled that year during what Palestinians call “The Nakba” or catastrophe.

Marian Fathalla, or Umm Akram was among those expelled, she has spent 71 years in a crowded makeshift refugee camp where she has raised three generations, all waiting to return to Palestine. She has lived through five Israel invasions. Amena El-Ashkar, is the granddaughter of Nakba survivors who has known no home but a refugee camp.

HEAR THEIR STORIES.

The event begins at 7:00 p.m.
