Join us to show solidarity with immigrant communities in the face of Trump’s latest threats to carry out mass deportation, his policies of separating and imprisoning families at the border, and his administration’s deportation of hundreds of thousands beloved community members including student Pastor Betty Rendon of Emaus Lutheran Church in Racine. We will rally at 1:30pm on Monday, June 24th at the Milwaukee ICE office.

Prior to the rally, members of the United Church of Christ in Milwaukee for their General Synod will march from their synod at the Wisconsin Convention Center at the corner of Wisconsin Ave and Vel Phillips Ave. The march begins at 1:15.

This event is being organized by the UCC National Collaborative on Immigration, UCC Justice and Witness Ministries, UCC Latinx Ministries, Racine Interfaith Coalition, New Sanctuary Movement of Milwaukee, and Voces de la Frontera. This rally is part of the worldwide week of actions for refugee rights surrounding June 20th, which is World Refugee Day.

Únase a nosotros para mostrar solidaridad con las comunidades inmigrantes contra las amenazas de Trump para llevar a cabo la deportación masiva, sus políticas de separación y encarcelamiento de familias en la frontera y la deportación por su administración de miles de queridos miembros de la comunidad, como la pastora estudiantil Betty Rendón de la iglesia luterana Emaus en Racine. Nos reuniremos a la 1:30 pm el lunes 24 de junio en la oficina de Milwaukee ICE.

Antes de la manifestación, los miembros de la Iglesia de Cristo Unida en Milwaukee para su Sínodo General marcharán desde el sínodo en el Centro de Convenciones de Wisconsin en la esquina de la avenida Wisconsin y la avenida Vel Phillips. La marcha comienza a las 1:15.

Este evento es organizado por la Colaboración Nacional de Inmigración de la UCC, lel Ministerio de Justicia y Testigo de la UCC, el Ministerio Latinx de la UCC, la Coalición Interreligiosa de Racine, el Nuevo Movimiento Santuario de Milwaukee y Voces de la Frontera. Esta manifestación es parte de la semana mundial de acciones por los derechos de los refugiados que se celebra el 20 de junio, que es el Día Mundial de los Refugiados.
