- Hello Community Members, Leaders and Organizations. We, the Planning Committee for Rally For Racine would like to invite you and your congregation to be a part of the Rally 4 Racine on Juneteenth Day, Friday June 19th.
- At 4pm in recognition of the pain and oppression that Black people have faced and still continue to face in America there will be two simultaneous rallies taking place. The rally at Gateway Technical College will be a Rally for Black Americans. There will also be a simultaneous Rally taking place at Winslow School (14th & College).
- These rallies will then JOIN FORCES IN UNITY and march to the John Bryant Center for Justice. Transportation will be provided back to staging locations from the Bryant Center. Waters will be provided however donations are still needed. Masks are required and are being donated, however more donations are still necessary.
- I am attaching two fliers for your distribution. The second flier is an explanation of why there are two rallies but one march and then one big Rally! Unity is the key and the goal, and if we work together we can build the necessary bridges to get us around the walls we’ve broken down together. I ask for your participation and ask that you please disseminate this to your constituents at your earliest convenience.
