Racine, August 9, 2020: DRIVE-BY CARAVAN FOR BLACK LIVES AT VILLA STREET GARDEN

Stainless steel garden Black Lives Matter markers will be placed in memory of Ty’Rese West and Dontae Shannon at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9 at our Villa St. Community Garden located between 11^th and 12^th St. in Racine. You are invited to a drive-by caravan between 2:00-2:30 pm, to honor the memory of these two Black men killed by police in 2018 and 2019. The parents of Ty’Rese and Dontae will be seated on garden sidewalk. Bring your signs and honk your horns to keep the memory of their son alive.
