Candlelit Vigil & March for Black Lives

State Capitol, Madison – 6 P.M.

In the month of August alone, our community has dealt with the shootings of Madison’s 11-year-old Anisa Scott and Kenosha’s Jacob Blake. Join us on Capitol Square at 6pm as we honor victims and survivors of all forms of violence & demand justice in the form of serious investment in our communities.

We’re not done until ALL Black people have what they need to live happy and healthy lives! We are not interested in statements from elected officials, we need leaders who are about that action! Use your power to shift resources out of harmful systems & into housing, healthcare, education, reparations, and other community support!

*Please wear masks and socially distance*
