May 21, 2021 is the 4 year anniversary of the murder of Jimmie Sanders. An innocent Black bystander murdered in Apple Jack’s Pub by killer cop Jay Steinke. We are gathering to demand justice for the Sanders family and demanding a Citizens Police Accountability Council (CPAC) here in Appleton to ensure this never happens again!
The Sanders’ family will be at Houdini Plaza starting at 5:00 PM. Come stand in solidarity with them, listen to music, and find out more about CPAC.
At approx. 6:20-6:30 we will begin with speakers from local organizations fighting for change at Houdini Plaza, from there we will have a march that loops back to Houdini Plaza to end with a candlelight vigil.
