NIH Fellows to file for union as they join national wave of union organizing

4,800 early-career researchers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have announced that they are forming a union, NIH Fellows United-UAW. This will be the first union within the U.S. federal government for research fellows and the largest new union of federal workers in 12 years.
