We invite you to join us for our annual freedom health day on August 12, 2023 from 1-4pm!
Freedom Health Day is all about taking space and practicing culturally relevant health activities. It’s also an opportunity for the community to learn more about Freedom, Inc.’s services and work while enjoying food and activities.
A few things to note about Freedom Health Day:
- This event is free and open to the community. There will be food, kids’ activities, community resources and stage performances.
- It will feature Black to School, an annual end-of-summer event designed to bring holistic community support to our students. Black to School serves as a space of rich political education, community building, and possibilities to get access to direct services. We’ll be providing students with a wide range of educational materials such as book bags, notebooks, pencils, pens, and binders.
- You can offer support by purchasing supplies from our wish list for a list of the items we are requesting. All items purchased on our wish list will automatically be delivered to our building.
