Demand Marcus Hotels & Resorts not host hate! This week we learned a known extremist hate group, “Moms for Liberty” also known as MAGA Moms would be hosting a school board training at Milwaukee’s Saint Kate – the Arts Hotel. This group, which recently quoted Adolph Hitler in one of their communications, opposes LGBTQ+ and racially inclusive school curriculum, and has advocated for books bans.
After receiving significant blow back from the public, Saint Kate reached out to MTEA to say they would not be hosting the hate group. Marcus decided to then play a shell game in hopes to trick the public and dodge criticism and moved the event to another one of their hotels, The Pfister Hotel. They also released the following statement, “As a hotel and meeting venue, we accommodate guests from a wide range of backgrounds and viewpoints,” the statement said “Providing such accommodations should not be seen as support for any particular set of beliefs.” So Marcus is willing to include Adolph Hitler in their tolerated range of views! We think Milwaukeeans would strongly disagree with this decision. We refuse to let hate have a home in our city! Call The Pfister Hotel today and demand they #DontHostHate
