I signed a petition on Action Network telling the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles and Governor Greg Abbott to save Will Speer.
Just three and a half months ago, Texas named Will Speer as the first Inmate Coordinator for the Death Row Faith Based Program. Now, the State plans to execute him on October 26, 2023.
As a minister to people incarcerated in Texas prisons, Will is an inspiration to others. He shows that people can change, take responsibility, and live a life of healing, faith, and service.
Despite everything he has overcome and the positive impact he is making in his historic new role as an Inmate Coordinator, the State plans to execute Will in a little over a month.
Will’s legal team is asking the Board of Pardons and Paroles to spare the life of this man whose soul Texas has worked so hard to save. Will you join the campaign to #SaveWillSpeer?
