Israel has ordered more than one million Palestinians to evacuate their homes in the whole northern half of Gaza, including Gaza City, within 24 hours.
UN officials have called this order impossible to implement and urged Israel to rescind it, while the World Health Organization says it is a “death sentence” for many of the most vulnerable people, including the sick, injured and elderly.
For Palestinians it is seems like the beginning of a new Nakba.
This comes as Israel escalates its genocidal bombardment of 2.3 million people — half of them children — eliminating entire family after entire family, as houses, apartment buildings, shelters and hospitals are bombed without discrimination or mercy.
UN rights experts have called Israel’s decision to cut food, water, electricity, fuel and other life essentials from the entire population a crime against humanity.
Yet as this horror unfolds, world governnments watch and do nothing and Western countries, first and foremost the United States, provide Israel with weapons and full encouragement to escalate the slaughter.
