GEO 3550 Demands University Divest from Israel

November 10, 2023 Ann Arbor. / Graduate Employees’ Organization 3550 – @safeumich hosted a Die-in on the Diag for the 10,000 and counting Palestinian lives lost over the past month. Over 40 other student organizations, including us GEO grad workers, co-sponsored this die-in.
Students laid on the ground on the Diag holding Palestinian flags and posters of the faces of murdered Palestinians, alongside ten large scrolls listing the names of the martyrs. SAFE members read aloud the names of martyrs on a loud speaker throughout the afternoon.
We won’t stop until @uofmichigan divests from Israel occupation, apartheid and genocide of Palestinian people! #freepalestine
