(The BDS National Committee notes that Dec. 9 is “the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and of the Prevention of this Crime, and that Israel’s war crimes and crimes against humanity have been recognized as ‘genocide in the making’ by UN experts, 880 international scholars, including prominent genocide and Holocaust experts, and human rights organizations…” and also that in several countries worldwide, December 9 is being observed as a “global day of action for climate justice”, calling upon land, indigenous and climate justice movements to “raise their voices for Palestine and mobilize to end Israel’s #GazaGenocide.”)
