Our community is losing loved ones each day, and our members are charging Biden with genocide. AROC has joined partner organizations in submitting an amicus brief in support of the genocide complaint being heard in the federal court in Oakland on January 26th.
The Arab Resource & Organizing Center (AROC), the Arab-American Civil Rights League (ACRL), the California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CA), and the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) have filed an Amicus Brief with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in support of the November 13, 2023, genocide complaint brought by the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) on behalf of Defense for Children International – Palestine and other organizations.
This complaint is directed against President Joe Biden and senior government officials—who filed a motion to dismiss the case on December 8—for their roles in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Join us as part of the international day of action on January 26th, when the case will be heard in Oakland, California.
