In a January 8, 2024 press release from Gateway Technical College, Burlington Coalition for Dismantling Racism (BCDR) was named one of Gateway’s “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarians.” A mere two days later, the educational institution rescinded BCDR’s award.
