Friday 1/26/24 is an International day of protest against war crimes in Gaza and in support of legal action against it. At 9 am PT, a lawsuit filed by the Center for Constitutional Rights against Pres. Biden, Sec. Blinken and Sec. Austin will be heard in California.
Here in Madison, UW Students for Justice in Palestine (Students For Justice In Palestine) asks people to assemble on the Library Mall at 10:30 am and march to the Capitol, where they will join a rally and noon press conference sponsored by World Beyond War, Madison-Rafah Sister City Project, Building Unity, and Madison Jewish Voice for Peace. The event will also call attention to how war and militarism steal resources that are needed here at home.
