We are honored to have Janan Najeeb and Rachel Ida Buff with us for a long overdue conversation.
Janan Najeeb is a proud Palestinian American Muslim. She is a founding member and the current Executive Director of the Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition. She is the founder of the Wisconsin Muslim Civic Alliance, Milwaukee Muslim Festival, Wisconsin Muslim Journal and on October 8th, she convened the Wisconsin Coalition for Justice in Palestine, now numbering more than 60 organizations across the state.
Rachel Ida Buff, A founding Member of Milwaukee Jewish Voice for Peace. She is a writer and working historian teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her most recent book A is for Asylum: Words for people on the Move/ A de Asilo; Palabras par Personas en Movimiento is a bilingual historical glossary that attempts to understand what we talk about when we talk about migration.
