Demand an Investigation into United States Complicity in the Rise of a Narco-State in Honduras

What did the United States know about the establishment of the narco-dictatorship and when? How can we ensure that our tax dollars are never again used to finance organized crime and human rights abuses committed abroad?

It’s time to insist on accountability! Write to the US senators who sit on the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere. Urge that they closely follow the trial of former Honduran President Hernández in the Southern District of New York. Insist that they call for Congressional investigations as to whether U.S. officials acted negligently and/or lied to cover up electoral fraud, violence, and human rights violations committed by Honduran state forces with U.S. support.

Escriba hoy  a los senadores estadounidenses que forman parte del Subcomité de Relaciones Exteriores del Senado para el Hemisferio Occidental y solicite que sigan de cerca el juicio del ex presidente hondureño Hernández en el Distrito Sur de Nueva York. Insistan en que pidan investigaciones del Congreso sobre si funcionarios estadounidenses actuaron con negligencia y/o mintieron para encubrir fraude electoral, violencia y violaciones de derechos humanos cometidas por fuerzas estatales hondureñas con el apoyo de los Estados Unidos.
