EVERY CAN COUNTS! DON’T DRINK MOLSON COORS!
Today, Teamsters nationwide kicked off a Day of Action against Molson Coors, urging the public to boycott the brand until the global beermaker comes back to the table with a fair contract for 420 Texas Teamsters. Across the country, rank-and-file members are blanketing parking lots and grocery store aisles, informing the public of how Molson Coors forced members of Teamsters Local 997 in Fort Worth out on strike after failing to provide wages and benefits to workers who earned and deserve them.
In Shelbyville, Indiana, members of Teamsters Local 135 were out in full force at local grocery stores and supermarkets, liquor stores, and gas stations to urge the buying public to stop drinking Molson Coors products until the company does right by workers. Meanwhile, in Dallas-Fort Worth, Teamsters are reminding shoppers the toll that the 39-day strike has taken on workers’ families and the community.
