| Read it online instead Dear Friend, We regret that you were not able to join us at the Global Anti-Apartheid Conference on Palestine against Israel’s settler-colonial apartheid regime held on the 10-12 May 2024 in Johannesburg, South Africa. We really missed you. We are pleased though to let you know that the Conference went well. There were over 400 participants from 32 countries including over 24 Palestinians from Palestine and those in the diaspora. Please find attached a copy of the Johannesburg Declaration on Israel’s Settler-Colonialism, Apartheid and Genocide: Towards a Global Anti Apartheid Movement for Palestine that was adopted by the Conference. Our next steps are to develop a Plan of Action while supporting current campaigns and for countries and regions to consider how they wish to take forward the work we have begun. We will keep you updated on progress and developments – please check our website for ongoing information. We look forward to working with you as we intensify our solidarity with the Palestinian people. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. Thank you for helping to make that possible. |
