Activities near or at Wisconsin’s State Capitol in Madison on July 22nd organized by Building Unity at 608-630-3633:
Sunrise Movement and Meditation – The answer rises every morning! Greet the sunrise (5:39 a.m.) with meditation and movement. If the weather is not nice, we may cut this event short. We will meet on the western shore of Lake Monona at the Law Park Boat Launch, near the corner of Blair St. and John Nolan Dr.

Signs of the Climate Emergency – Starting at 7:30 a.m., we will line the bike path and John Nolan Drive near where it intersects with Blair and Williamson Streets. Drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians will see signs about the day’s activities. Bring a sign or banner if you want. We will also have some to share.

At 5:00 p.m.: We will start gathering for a Climate Emergency Day Carpool/Caravan to the Farley Center for Peace, Justice & Sustainability.

  • West Side – Brittingham Park Parking Lot – 829 W. Washington Ave. 

*** We will get into the fewest number of cars that we can and leave by 5:15 p.m., returning by 9:00 p.m.
At 6:00 p.m. – A “Building Unity Gathering” (BUG) at the Linda and Gene Farley Center for Peace, Justice & Sustainability. 350 Wisconsin will lead an information and action session after a community potluck dinner. http://tinyurl.com/CED-WI-Fb-Event
