Iran’s Retaliatory Strikes on Israel were Legal and in Self-Defense

Iran executed a legal and legitimate response to provocations by Israel following illegal terrorist attacks by the Zionist regime that targeted Iranian nationals and interests, infringing upon Iran’s sovereignty. In accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, Iran launched over 200 ballistic missiles at military targets in Israel on Tuesday. These strikes directly retaliated against Israeli airstrikes in Beirut, which massacred hundreds of Lebanese civilians and targeted Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Abbas Nilforoushan.[read more]
