Join the National March for Trans Lives – Online Organizing Meeting November 17, 2024

The Coalition to Protect Trans Lives invites you to an open online organizing meeting on Sunday, November 17, at 7:30 PM Eastern / 6 PM Central / 5 PM Mountain / 4 PM Pacific, to plan a National March for Trans Lives for spring 2025.

We are building a nationwide network of organizers, and we would like to invite you to join us.

Our Speakout for Trans Lives on October 19 brought together organizations and individuals from around the country as a powerful statement of our solidarity with the state-by-state struggle for trans rights. But it’s clear that our fight has to continue – state legislatures continue their assault on our rights with no support from the federal government.

With the Biden/Harris administration’s continual capitulation to the right wing on trans rights and many other issues and with the Harris campaign’s rightward push, it is clear that they will not fight back against the assault on trans lives going on in this country, and we all know that Trump and Vance our among our greatest enemies. No matter who wins the election in November, we will need to be in the streets demanding our rights and fighting for better lives for trans people, queer people, and all oppressed people in this country.

On November 17, we will kick off the next phase of organizing for trans lives that began last year with our National March for Trans Lives in Orlando, FL, and continues with our work connecting organizations and individuals and building a movement to stand up for trans people, queer people, and all oppressed people.

The link for the meeting will be sent out the day of the meeting. If you would like to attend, respond to this email or email us at info@protecttranskidsmarch.org
