A new report from Brown University found that 114,000 people have been killed by mass murder since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza, the majority are innocent civilians and mostly women and children. The destruction of Gaza’s health-care infrastructure has led to outbreaks of cholera, measles, polio, and meningococcal meningitis. Nearly two million Gazans — over 90% of the population have been displaced, their homes bombed to rubble, forced to flee repeatedly to escape Israel’s relentless bombing. At least 345,000 are facing catastrophic levels of starvation, lack of clean water and no access to hygiene.
A joint U.S.-Israeli plan to employ private security contractors, will reportedly include CIA-trained mercenaries, who are expected to manage aid distribution and set up internment camps for Palestinians.
