| Find trusted legal advice and learn what your options are;Make a preparedness plan in the event someone in your family must leave, sorting out issues like child care, finances, and power of attorney; Know your rights if you are stopped. Carry any legal immigration documents with you, but do not carry false identity documents. |

Don’t answer questions about your immigration status or what country you’re from, and don’t sign anything from ICE without consulting an attorney.
