The treacherous attempt by the Zionist occupation to assassinate the Hamas negotiating delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha, today is a heinous crime, a blatant aggression, and a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.
This crime represented an aggression against the sovereignty of the brotherly State of Qatar, which, together with its sister Egypt, plays an important and responsible role in sponsoring mediation and efforts aimed at stopping the aggression and reaching a ceasefire agreement and the exchange of prisoners, which once again reveals the criminal nature of the occupation and its desire to undermine any chances of reaching an agreement.
We affirm the failure of the enemy to assassinate the brothers in the negotiating delegation, while a number of martyred brothers rose to the heights of glory, namely:

We also mourn the martyr Deputy Sergeant / Badr Saad Mohammed Al-Humaidi, a member of the Qatari Internal Security (Lekhwiya).
We pray to God to bless them with His mercy and to dwell in them in the spacious of His Paradise.
The targeting of the negotiating delegation, at a moment when US President Donald Trump’s latest proposal is being discussed, confirms beyond a shadow of a doubt that Netanyahu and his government do not want to reach any agreement, and that they are deliberately seeking to abort all opportunities and thwart international efforts, indifferent to the lives of their prisoners in the resistance, the sovereignty of states, or the security and stability of the region.
We hold the US administration jointly responsible with the occupation for this crime, because of its constant support for the aggression and crimes of the occupation against our people.
This crime has proven that the Zionist occupation is an imminent danger to the region and the world, and that Netanyahu is trying to erase our national cause and the rights of our people, and push them towards forced displacement, continuing his criminal plans of extermination, ethnic cleansing, starvation and displacement.
We in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) call on the countries of the world, the United Nations, and all living forces and free consciences to condemn this criminal aggression against the brotherly State of Qatar, and to take urgent action to put pressure on the occupation to stop the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing, to provide justice to our Palestinian people, and to support their legitimate right to freedom and self-determination.
The cowardly assassination attempt will not change our clear positions and demands, which are: an immediate cessation of the aggression against our people, the complete withdrawal of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip, a real exchange of prisoners, and the relief of our people and reconstruction.
We affirm that these terrorist crimes will not undermine the resolve of our movement and leadership, nor will they deviate from our adherence to the national rights of our people, and from continuing the path of resistance until the occupation is removed from our land and the establishment of our independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital.
