Milwaukee, April 16, 2026: Teach-in on AB446 – New IHRA Anti-Semitism Law in WI

You are invited to a teach-in on Thursday, April 16 about new Wisconsin law Act 143 (AB446) which codifies the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of anti-semitism, a definition which includes criticisms of Israel in its examples. Understandably, there is a lot of anger, and maybe some fear, circulating among the Palestinian community and our allies because of the view-point discrimination this codifies into law.

Join us as we discuss the implications of this new law, what it does & does not do, and how you can protect yourself without being silenced. We will have an attorney present to discuss the potential legal implications, and our team will be on hand to discuss how we can amplify – not shrink – our voices at this crucial time of political repression against Palestinians in Wisconsin.

📅 Thursday, April 16
🕕 6:00 – 8:00PM
📍ISM Community Center, 815 W Layton Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221 (near Pita Palace)
🚍 On bus lines 55, 19, 80
