In Chicago and in Raleigh, the school systems are officially embracing May Day. In Atlanta, USSW announced their big rally. In Common Dreams, Organized Power in Numbers’ director stakes the ground that the pro-democracy movement has to fight where workers already fight in order to be successful. Comic book artists are illustrating the day’s calls to action. The AFL-CIO is mobilizing across the country. Celebrities are joining in.
