Gas prices are rising and so are we.
Across the country, working people are being squeezed by rising food and housing costs, growing instability, and an economy that continues to prioritize billionaires over the rest of us.
Meanwhile, the administration is carrying out an unpopular and illegal war, with everyday people bearing the cost. Trump requested $1.5 trillion for the 2027 fiscal year military budget after already spending tens of billions bombing Iran this past month. All this money for weapons and tech companies, but never for healthcare, housing, and schools. The Supreme Court’s latest decision on Louisiana v. Callais is yet another sign of a political system that keeps shutting everyday people out while giving more power to the wealthy and well-connected. But this is not the end of the story.
That’s why tomorrow, May 1, we take action.
We’re taking to the streets to challenge a system that puts profits first and to fight for one that centers our communities, our labor, and our futures.
There’s still time to be part of this movement. With over 3,000 actions happening across the country, you can find or host a May Day event near you and show up alongside thousands of others in your community.
Stay inspired by hearing directly from organizers and creators building momentum.
Get inspired as you hear from incredible organizers on the ground from across the country who shared what’s at stake this May Day.
See you in the streets.
In solidarity,
