Last week, supporters hit the streets for May Day actions in San Francisco, Philly, Denver, Olympia, and beyond, flyering in solidarity with baristas fighting for a fair contract. Customers and communities are paying attention, and they’re showing up.
You did that. And we need more of it.

On May 23 , we’re hitting not-yet-union Starbucks stores across the country to show Starbucks that customers are serious about standing with baristas. We’ll be talking with people about what workers are fighting for and asking them to delete the app. We need you there!
Join the May 23 Day of Action!
Baristas have been at the bargaining table in good faith. Starbucks executives keep throwing up roadblocks while rolling out changes that make workers’ lives harder: cuts to food markouts and Lyft benefits, scheduling that keeps people’s hours unpredictable.

The pressure needs to come from outside the table, too. That’s where you come in.

On Saturday, May 23, we’ll be talking with customers about what workers are fighting for and asking people to delete the Starbucks app. You only need 1-3 people per action, so if your group runs bigger, you can cover multiple stores and help us reach as many locations as possible.

Starbucks is counting on people to move on. Don’t let them. Sign up now, and we’ll send you everything: flyers, action guidance, and a short training to get you ready.

Until there’s a fair contract, skip Starbucks and delete the app. Then tell a friend! In solidarity, Starbucks Workers United
