These “secondary sanctions” empower the US to penalize non-American companies and banks, specifically targeting Cuba’s mining, financial, and security sectors. The impact is to further strangle the Cuban economy as more trading partners are intimidated and pull out of the country Second, credible reports of military escalation and war preparedness accompanying by Rubio and Trump’s bellicose threats indicate a serious possibility of attack on the Cuban people we are asking all people of conscious to stay alert and act to prevent a catastrophe |
