| The Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition is hosting a day of statewide rallies TODAY Thursday, June 4. Why? Because Our Maps, Our Say! Wisconsin has a chance to get it right, to establish an Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) that ends gerrymandering and protects voters It’s time for accountability in Wisconsin. We must be visible. Right now, in Southern states, power-hungry, anti-democratic politicians are gerrymandering to take votes away from Black and brown voters. We must protect our vote here in Wisconsin, and an IRC is the way to do so. What we’re seeing at the national level makes our work harder, but it doesn’t make it impossible. We were built for these fights. |
