| Two years ago, the Palestinian Youth Movement launched Mask off Maersk: a campaign to expose and end logistic giant Maersk’s facilitation of the genocide of the Palestinian people. Since then, our work has grown into the People’s Embargo for Palestine, a movement taking action in pursuit of a global arms embargo against Israel. Now, we have uncovered Maersk’s biggest lie yet. A newly released investigative report exposes Maersk’s deep, ongoing role in supplying Israel’s weapons industry. Since October 2023, Maersk has shipped millions of kilograms of ammunition components — including bullet cores, bomb bodies, and mortar parts — directly to Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer. These are the materials that become the bullets, mortars, and bombs used against Palestinians. This report is direct and undeniable evidence that Maersk is indeed transporting military components to Israel — a fact they have continued to deny, including in a recent interview with CEO Vincent Clerc. DIGITAL ACTION TOOLKIT HERE Key Report Points:Maersk has shipped munition components to Israel since October 2023, including parts for bullets, bombs, mortars, projectile bodies, and other ordnance. It specifically identifies shipments of bullet cores and brass case cups, MK-80 and MPR bomb bodies, aluminum powder used in explosive filling, and 120mm mortar components to Elbit Systems subsidiaries. Between October 2023 and June 2024, Maersk shipped over 1.43 million kg of bullet cores and brass case cups across 53 shipments from U.S. suppliers to IMI Systems, an Elbit subsidiary in Ramat HaSharon. Between November 2023 and July 2024, Maersk delivered nearly 40,000 kg of critical 120mm mortar components to Elbit Systems in Israel- at the height of the genocide.
