Chicago, Nov. 15: EMERGENCY Protest of the New Israeli Invasion of Gaza!

Thursday 11/15/12

4:00PM – 5:00PM

130 E. Randolph Street (the location of President Obama’s headquarters), Chicago

Almost four years ago, Israel invaded Gaza and killed 1,400 and wounded more than 5,000. At that time, President-elect Obama did not speak out against the Israeli attack, and the Israeli army subsequently committed war crimes against the civilian population in Gaza.

Now four years later, the Israelis have once again escalated their attacks on the Palestinians in Gaza, with aircraft, drones and warships bombing over 20 sites, killing and wounding dozens of civilians. Once again the Israeli army is threatening a ground invasion.

Demand President Obama take action this time and pressure the Israeli government to end their attacks on the Palestinians in Gaza, and end the illegal blockade as well.

Organized by:

Palestine Solidarity Group (PSG)– Chicago

Chicago Movement for Palestinian Rights (CMPR)

US Palestinian Community Network (USPCN) – Chicago

American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) – Chicago

10 a.m.-11:30 a.m., 2850 Hoepker Rd., Sun Prairie, WI

Stand with members of the Palermo Workers Union, now in the sixth month of their strike for union recognition, and call on Costco to join the nationwide boycott of union-busting Palermo’s Pizza!

This Saturday’s action at Costco in Sun Prairie is critically important because leaders of the Palermo Workers Union will be visiting with the CEO of Costco on Friday, November 16th, at the Costco corporate headquarters, just outside of Seattle, Washington.

We need to send a strong message to Costco that we will

follow up our appeals to reason with ACTION!

This is the Grand Opening Weekend for the Sun Prairie Costco, which will open its doors for the first time on Thursday.
