With 30 neighborhood and community supporters filling the public benches at 36^th District Court, the Cullors Nov. 13 won a temporary stay of their scheduled eviction by Fannie Mae and Bank of America. The judge could not help but notice the turnout of supporters and agreed to stay the eviction until a December 6 hearing on the contending claims surrounding the foreclosure process.

Almost four years ago, Israel invaded Gaza and killed 1,400 and wounded more than 5,000. At that time, President-elect Obama did not speak out against the Israeli attack, and the Israeli army subsequently committed war crimes against the civilian population in Gaza.

Now four years later, the Israelis have once again escalated their attacks on the Palestinians in Gaza, with aircraft, drones and warships bombing over 20 sites, killing and wounding dozens of civilians. Once again the Israeli army is threatening a ground invasion.

Demand President Obama take action this time and pressure the Israeli government to end their attacks on the Palestinians in Gaza, and end the illegal blockade as well.
